About Linda

Linda Lee Henderson has always been passionate about reading the stories of others. She grew up in Hunterdon County New Jersey and dreamt of becoming a teacher.  After receiving her Master's Degree from the College of William and Mary she taught school for 18 years while moving around the world with her family. She then  worked in real estate for 30 years before moving to Hilton Head, South Carolina where she enjoys playing golf, tennis, biking, gardening, cooking and crafts. She also loves traveling to other countries. Linda believes that life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest everyday. She has three grown children and four grand children. One of her children, her son, became an addict as a result of a prescription drug. Her story is the painful journey she experienced through his addictive years. Her story is written with the hope that it will inspire others not to give up when challenged with an addiction in their family.
